WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS
Santa Fe Tails: because some dogs need a little something extra.
Not every dog in our adoption kennels is perfect. In fact, like us humans, hardly any of them are. But, like us, they can get along pretty well if they have someone to love them and take care of them. Some dogs, however, need someone to go that extra mile for them. At SFAS&HS, we don't give up on those dogs. To give them the time and special attention they need, we partner with our friends Joey and Hannah at Santa Fe Tails. Without charging your shelter a dime, Joey and Hannah work with our "special needs" dogs to give them the training, help, and confidence they need to become part of a family. They have saved many lives, and work tirelessly to make our very improvable dogs ready to go home. Not only do they provide these services for us, they offer a host of pet services to our Santa Fe Community. Want to find out more? Visit their website by clicking here. And take a moment to thank them for all they do for the animals of our community. Read More. |

EVERYONE NEEDS A LITTLE HELP
“Big Brown Dog Bonanza” Pays Owners $10 Bonus with Every Free Spay/Neuter!
Big dogs are good dogs. They're also easy to find in northern New Mexico. In fact, shelters are full of them.
To save the lives of these overlooked dogs, the Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society will waive the surgery fee and pay owners a $10 bonus for every big, brown mixed-breed dog over 40 pounds (or puppies who are planning on growing up to be big, brown mixed-breed dogs!) brought to the SFAS&HS Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic for surgery.
To schedule an appointment or for more information, owners may call the SFAS&HS Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic at (505) 474-6422. Read More. |

ANNOUNCING THE MOVING FORWARD FOR FELINES FUND
For those who need it most, cat spay/neuter for only a $10 Co-pay!
We're so proud to announce the Moving Forward for Felines Fund, the generous gift of an anonymous donor designed to raise the profile of cats in our communities by helping to fund spay and neuter. This fund will allow those who need it most to receive spay/neuter services for even less than our already-low prices. For only a $10 co-pay in most cases, owners can ensure that their cat stays healthier and doesn't increase the population of unwanted cats already filling our community by getting spayed or neutered in our high-quality clinic. Funds are limited each month, so act now! Call 474-6422 for more information or to make an appointment. Read More. |
