Pets of the Week

Sara
Sara is a sweety who needs a loving home. She is 7 years old and would do best as an only cat. She would appreciate a quiet home with a steady routine to give her a sense of security.

Snow Queen
Snow Queen is a cat lovers dream. She is the quiet, independent type. Experienced adult adopters would be best. She is looking for a calm quiet home to call her own.
A041304

Samantha
Samantha is still really just a puppy. She is a Queensland Heeler mix and has plenty of energy. Someone willing to train her and give her the socialization she needs would be ideal.

Cinder
Cinder is a sweety. She enjoys affection and will have a medium to low exercise requirement. An owner who understands some of the characteristics of Sharpeis would be a plus, though not a must since she is a mix.

Lost & Found Pets
What to do if you have lost a pet:
  1. File a lost report with the Shelter. You may do this by calling 983-4309 x606 or visiting the Shelter in person.
  2. Canvas your neighborhood. Visit your neighbors and put up posters. (Some copy shops do this for free.)
  3. Put a "Lost Pet" ad in the Santa Fe Scoop, the New Mexican, Craigslist, and the Reporter at no charge.
  4. Visit the Shelter often to see if your animal is here.
  5. Visit the Shelter website "Lost Pets" section below. The website is updated several times each day.

Please note: the Shelter receives 10-20 animals each day and 25-30 lost reports each month. It is impossible for our staff to compare each lost report with each incoming animal. It is VERY important that you regularly visit the Shelter and check our website while your pet is missing.

Lost pets are not available for adoption, nor do we have adoption information available for them.
